Responsibilities:

• • Providing consultation to clients on disinfectant products, possible new product development, and related topics.

  • Lead and handling in the development of disinfectant products and prototypes to formulate new products and refining existing ones.

  • Survey and source raw materials required for product formulation and prototyping to identify suitable actives and excipients that meet client requirements in terms of efficacy, material compatibility, and other properties of disinfectant products.

  • Prepare samples and prototyped samples for trials on a small scale. Optimize product properties based on specifications and client requirements.

  • Create technical documents, such as formulation sheets and safety assessment reports, for new products and those under development which are important for quality control and regulatory compliance.

  • Maintain a positive working relationship with the appointed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) factory to involve collaboration on product production processes, maintenance, and quality control.

  • Understand and ensure compliance with the requirements and regulations for medical-grade disinfectants as set by relevant authorities, such as MDA and TGA.

  • Other duties assigned by Administrative Manager.

 Requirements:

• • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor of degree in Chemistry, or equivalent.

  • At least of 3 years working experience in the related field (hands on product development experience, preferably of sanitizers and other cleaning products).

  • Preferable have working experience in ISO 13485 industry.

  • Required language(s): English.

  • Required skill(s): Strong laboratory control skills for formulation and testing, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills, self-initiative to learn.

Responsibilities

• • Performing tests on prototyped and newly developed samples to collect data and ensure the stability of products. This can include a wide range of tests to assess various aspects of the samples.

  • Improving existing analytical testing methods in the laboratory, specifically active ingredient concentrations and surfactant concentrations, to make sure the methods works in different product types with diverse matrices.

  • Study and develop new analytical method to enhance laboratory capabilities.

  • Assisting in formulation process and any troubleshooting task assigned by superiors.

  • Understanding the requirements and regulations for medical grade disinfectants, and staying updated with regulations set by government and international bodies such as MDA, TGA or relevant authorities.

  • Liaise with appointed laboratory partner for product properties assessment.

  • Other duties assigned by superior and administrative manager.

Requirements:

• • A minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or an equivalent field.

  • A minimum of 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience is required.

  • Experience in ISO17025 or GLP laboratories is preferable.

  • Required language(s): English.

  • Required skill(s): Strong laboratory control skills, problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills, self-initiative to learn.
